(Campden: Essex House Press, 1905). 195 x 132 mm. (7 3/4 x 5 1/8"). leaves. ONE OF 250 COPIES.
Publisher's blue cloth, printed paper label on upper cover, COMPLETELY UNOPENED. With a three-line decorative initial at the beginning of each sonnet. Tomkinson, p. 77; Ransom, p. 269. A hint of shelf wear, hinge just peeking through after final gathering, but the binding perfectly sound, endpapers with offsetting, a few leaves with a touch of browning along the edges, but an excellent copy, clean and bright throughout.
Although we uncovered very little about the author of these poems, we can say that this is a typically lovely product from the Essex House Press, tastefully laid out and beautifully printed. Our copy is unopened and obviously very little used, meaning the contents are close to pristine. (CCS1915)
