Mild soiling to binding, corners lightly rubbed, but an excellent copy that is clean and fresh internally.

This substantial, hardbound prospectus issued for one of the masterworks of the press contains essays on the illustrators of Dickens' works by Arthur Waugh, "A Bibliographical List of the Original Illustrations to the Works of Charles Dickens, Being Those Made under his Supervision," compiled by Thomas Hatton, and a "Retrospectus" examining earlier editions of the complete works, in addition to the description of the forthcoming Nonesuch edition and an order form for subscribers.
