This charming piece of fine press is a satirical history of the fictitious "Great North Bodoni Railway Company" golf club on the equally fictitious island of San Serriffe. Author and printer David Hamilton ran the Partick Press for his self-published books on golf and medicine, including a series of short letterpress works on fine paper, as here.
